Why stacking is the wrong answer for a significant car
Stacked and hoist-based storage saves floor space for the operator. It costs the owner. Every retrieval depends on a lift, on the vehicles around yours being moved, and on hydraulics, platforms and cables behaving every single time.
A car parked above another also shares its risks: a fluid leak, a mechanical fault, a handling error. For a collector vehicle there is no reason to accept that trade, so at The Mews we simply do not make it.
Furthermore, there is a hidden atmospheric risk. Classic fuel tanks vent naturally to the air. Positioned on a lift, an upper vehicle continuously sheds heavy fuel vapours downward, effectively washing the car beneath it in an invisible, chemical mist that degrades paintwork, attacks rubber seals, and tarnishes brightwork over time.
How floor residency works at The Mews
Your vehicle is allocated its own space on polished, sealed concrete inside the enclosed collector wing. It is positioned once, secured and fitted with a breathable, tailored dust cover.
When you call for it, it is driven out, not lowered down. That is what makes our two-hour Ready-to-Drive protocol possible, and why access to your car never depends on anyone else’s.

Is any vehicle in the collector wing ever stacked or lifted?
No. Collector vehicles occupy floor space only.
Can I collect my car without other vehicles being moved?
Yes. Each vehicle has its own floor allocation, so retrieval never depends on another car. Give us two hours’ notice and it will be prepared and ready to drive.
Where is The Mews?
In Eagle Farm, Brisbane, close to Brisbane Airport. For the privacy of the collection, the exact location is shared once your viewing is confirmed.
